VS Seafood is specialized in exporting Yellow Fin Tuna (Thunnus albacares), Big Eye Tuna (Thunnus obesus) and Swordfish (Xiphias gladius) and other varieties for the International Market. The Quality has been developed to meet the existing standards of the EU, which outline the entire processing of fish, which is subjected to inspections carried out by the local authorities such as the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources and the Sri Lanka Standard Institution, which is the authorized body in Sri Lanka on behalf of the EU.


The fresh tuna is the gold prized fish in the ocean; it is among our prime export products. We put a huge effort in ensuring that we stock freshest products with a key focus on proper storage & packing. A fleet of specialized fishing vessels catches fresh tuna from the Indian Ocean and deliver the bulk to HACCP certified factories. From loins to whole fish or according to the customer requirement, we supply a broad range of the freshest tuna products to cater any growing international demand.

  • Tuna Loin – Tuna Loins are our main line of products which are exported in Large and regular volumes to many destinations in Europe.
  • Whole Tuna G&G / H&G - Whole Tuna of Sashimi grade is exported to Japan while the EU Grade is used for processing of Loins, Saku and Steak to Europe and U.S.A.
  • Customer Requirements - We can arrange fresh whole Tuna processed and packed according to your requirement, maintaining HACCP standards to ensure high quality.


The Swordfish is a large marine fish in tropical and temperate waters throughout the world. It is also known as ‘Broadbill or ‘Broadbill Swordfish’. In appearance the swordfish resembles the sailfish and marlin but has a smaller dorsal fin (or sail), a flattened rather than round bill (or sword) and has no scales or pelvic fin.
